The pleasures and joys of camping have allured some to forgo a two-to-three week yearly trip in their RV in favor of a much longer stay. Last year at the conclusion of the school year in May, one Minnesota family relocated to an RV park and stayed all summer. While the couple both commuted to their jobs every day, the children spent their days at the park swimming, fishing and riding bicycles. At days end when the couple returned to their travel trailer, they roasted marshmallows by the fire and spent quality time together. The experience was so enjoyable for the entire family that they can’t wait to do it again this year.

Another couple has gone a step further, selling their home so they can live permanently in their motor home: NewsOK reports. Since embarking on their new lifestyle in November, they have traveled over 4,000 miles, engaging in such activities as hiking on the Appalachian Trail and parasailing in Florida.
