We have more information and resources for both campground operators and RVers impacted by the recent flood. First, an announcement from Governor Greg Abbott:
Governor Greg Abbott today announced that the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) launched the Texas Flooding Emotional Support Line, a new statewide crisis support line for Texans impacted by recent catastrophic floods. The crisis support line is available 24/7 and provides professional crisis counseling at no cost.
Survivors, families, first responders, and others affected by the disaster can receive professional crisis counseling at no cost by calling 833-812-2480. All calls are confidential and answered by personnel specially trained to work with disaster survivors.
Through crisis counseling, Texans can receive emotional support and get assistance with reviewing their disaster recovery options and referrals to other programs. Crisis counseling also promotes positive coping strategies and helps prevent additional stress for those affected by disaster.

Topper’s RV and Texas Campgrounds Partner to Support Impacted RVers
From Topper’s:
On the Fourth of July, the Texas Hill Country was forever changed. Historic flooding surged through the region in the middle of the night, devastating campgrounds and sweeping away RVs, tents and the people within them.
Our hearts are heavy for every family impacted.
Topper’s RVs of the Greater Houston area has always been part of the camping community, not just as a dealer, but as fellow travelers. Many of those affected were our neighbors, our customers and our friends. That’s why we’re stepping in to help however we can.
We’ve partnered with the Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) to provide immediate relief and ongoing support.
Effective immediately, Topper’s RVs will be offering $1,000 off all new RVs for those directly impacted by the Kerr County Flood, including delivery costs.Additionally, a portion of those sales will go towards the Texas Hill Country Campgrounds and RV Parks Disaster Relief fund that was set up by the Texas Association of Campground Owners.
