The Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) will have its annual Spring Meeting and Tradeshow from April 25-26 at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center in Conroe, Texas.
“This is shaping up to be a really great show, the largest campground industry conference and tradeshow in the Southwest,” said Brian Schaeffer, TACO’s executive director and CEO, adding, “So far, we have over 70 vendors.”
Six different educational seminars are planned for the two-day event, including:
“Forward Thinking in the Outdoor Hospitality Space,” by Kathleen Walsh, of Advanced Outdoor Solutions in Cape Coral, Fla.
“New Park Development: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly,” by Jayne Cohen, of Campground Consulting Group
“Is Selling Propane Giving You Gas?” By April Richardson, alternative fuels safety director at The Railroad Commission of Texas
“A TACO Legislative Report with Updates on TACO’s Legal Handbook and Best Legal Practices for Texas Park Operators,” by Brian Schaeffer, Ron Hinkle, TACO’s lobbyist, and Randall Daily, TACO’s president.
Interest in TACO’s annual Spring Meeting and Tradeshow has been so strong this year that the association created a special website at https://www.tacospringmeeting.com/ for advance registrations and to provide more information.
TACO will complement its educational seminars and tradeshow with its annual awards competition and its annual auction to raise money for the association’s government affairs program.
More than a dozen companies have already signed up as sponsors of the two-day event. Platinum sponsors and show underwriters include Firefly Reservations; Leavitt Recreation & Hospitality Insurance; Rowley Insurance; Utility Supply Group; and Wild Energy. Gold sponsors include Best Wash, Inc.; Campspot; Lelands Cabins; and Sunstone Real Estate Advisors. Silver sponsors include Campers Card; Conestoga Wagon Company; PPL Motorhomes; and Tail Bangers.
