Recently, TACO helped pass important legislation for RV parks and campgrounds in the state. In short, NFPA 1194 is the guideline used for RV park and campground construction and expansion.  This eliminates a patchwork of confusing and sometimes unattainable local regulations.

One new requirement is that parks have to have evacuation plans, which were an important issue after the July 4th floods. Now that it’s part of state law to use NFPA 1194 in the operation of your RV park, TACO is creating critical tools and information for developing, approving, and implementing these life-saving measures.

Don’t miss a recap of this important legislation and the Special Session in general. Join TACO CEO/Executive Director Brian Schaeffer, TACO Legislative Liaison Randall Dally, and TACO Legislative Consultant Ron Hinkle as they recap the Special Session and take your questions.

The session will start at 10:00 a.m. and you MUST register by October 17th. This session is FREE to all current TACO members, with non-TACO members required to pay a $50 registration fee.
