According to RV Daily Report, those in the market for a new RV will have a new incentive to buy one at some dealerships – a lifetime warranty. The program is called RV Warranty Forever and is being introduced by NWAN, an affiliate of National Automotive Experts (NAE).
The policy is being offered through a small group of RV dealers, approximately one out of four in every state. Now, NAE is offering the program to all dealers in hopes of attaining nationwide coverage by the end of the year.
This warranty that some speculate will revolutionize the RV market will include basic coverage of suspension, water system, brakes, kitchen center, heating and air conditioning, LP gas systems and manual leveling jacks. These services are provided as long as the customer owns the RV, covering all parts and labor expenses. No deductible is charged.
Kelly Price, president of NAE tells RV Daily News that no catch is involved because the warranty comes with the unit. The only customer requirement consists of maintaining the RV based on the manufacturer recommended intervals delineated in the agreement, she says.
