Early voting is underway in Texas and a new legislature will be voted in. To prepare for the upcoming session, the Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) is hosting a free webinar focused on the next Texas legislative session and the issues that could affect campground owners, RV parks, and the broader outdoor hospitality industry across the state.
The webinar, open to all, is scheduled for the day after election day, November 4th at 10:00 a.m. CST, and will provide attendees with an overview of the upcoming legislative session, key policy issues to watch, and potential implications for campground businesses. Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about the legislative process, understand emerging priorities, and prepare for developments that could affect their operations.
“As Texas continues to see strong interest in outdoor recreation and camping, it is important for campground owners to stay informed about legislative issues that may affect their businesses,” said Brian Schaeffer, CEO/Executive Director of the Texas Association of Campground Owners. “This webinar will help our members better understand what to expect during the upcoming session and how they can stay engaged in the legislative process.”
Topics will include proposed legislation affecting business operations, including property taxes – recently named the most important issue in the upcoming session by TACO members – infrastructure, and other issues relevant to Texas campground and RV park owners. The webinar will also highlight the importance of industry advocacy and keeping informed about legislative developments as the session progresses.
TACO encourages campground owners, RV park operators, industry partners, and other outdoor hospitality professionals to participate in the webinar and take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the legislative landscape in Texas. Click here to register today.
