Good Sam, the biggest RV owners’ group in the world, and Camping World, the biggest RV and outdoor merchant in the nation, have announced the launch of a program called Project Good Samaritan. The mission of this initiative is to make the world a better place through the philanthropic efforts of the corporate members of these businesses as well as their employees.

Under the project, staff will volunteer eight hours of their time each quarter to work in a community program of their choice, such as soup kitchens or home building for needy families. They will receive paid time off from their jobs to participate in these endeavors.

As these organizations have enjoyed an amazingly successful year, they desire to give back to the community by supporting charitable causes. Local communities across the country will benefit from the participation of their 5,000 associates lending their time to worthwhile programs that help those who are less fortunate.
